The first time I ever touched a barbell was in 2001 when I was only 2 years old. I didn’t succeed in trying to lift it, don’t worry I’m not that talented. But every day I step into a gym now, I always go back to that day. After all, we can’t forget our first love. So I’ve been lifting now for almost 5 years and let me tell you, it is not impossible to become good at it. The more you train, the more hours you put in, the more work ethic you have, the higher your chances of succeeding will be. I have had a lot of people ask me how I manage between competitive Weightlifting and school, and my answer is always “discipline and willpower.”...

oh.em.jerry What the hell is going on with my footstrike?! Hands down the best decision I made this cycle was to have someone look at my running form. There are a few ways to do this but I chose to do the runstrong workshop@academyoflions. They gave me great tips on posture, footstrike and cadence and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It was also not the Pose Method, which I hate.
