Raising the Bar was established to highlight & cultivate female leadership within our community through conversations & workshops.

Raising the Bar - a show where we highlight unique female leadership within our immediate & broad community through storytelling. The women we'll be speaking with range from artists to business owners to athletes - we'll be dissecting their process & personal story to find out what choices & habits led them to be where they are now, what advice they might give to a younger version of themselves, & lastly a common thread throughout all these interviews, what role athletics has played in their journey.

We could all use a little inspiration and motivation in our lives.

Through honest storytelling and intimate conversation we’ll exhibit the incredible human potential these women have reached

Keep an eye out for what is to come & send us your love at @natalielodge or @jenny_mc.

Keep your bar high,

Natalie grew up in Guelph & left at age 18 to go to university in Toronto, travelled along the way, met some incredible females... Oh and went to the gym daily.

Moved back to Guelph & endured the worst day of my life in Oct 2008. My dad passed & my life changed. It took a couple years for it to come to light but this change led to some amazing things.

Outside of my athletics & work with the Academy, full time, I currently plan events, deal with sponsorships & really care about people’s experiences amongst each & every step. I always try to do something new & try to face challenges/change head on.

I learned the value of a great conversation from my Dad (shout out Scholar!) & feel empowered when I’m surrounded by strong, emotional, loyal & inspirational females from my sisters, grandma & Mom.

I work out 5 - 8 times a week and love to do it. It ranges from running, Crossfit, lifting, Yoga & more. I have run 3 halfs, 2 marathons, run with 2 amazing crews (@parkdaleroadrunners, @academyoflionsruncrew) & am part of the best community in the world. I’m surrounded by the most amazing GFs (#girlsfriends) and during one of my darker points realized that we all need more female leaders available at their fingertips & we need to teach them young. Here it comes, Raising the Bar. #raisingthebar
