Sign up for a full- day Team Competition that will push you physically and challenge you mentally.
Whether you’re a Pro at whipping out Double Unders more than 100 at a time, or you have just sweat through your first WOD and came back the same week for more, we want you there! All levels are not only welcomed, but encouraged!
See what an inspiring experience it is to work with a team in a competition environment.
Each person will register individually and be placed on an evenly matched team of 4, consisting of beginner, intermediate, and advance athletes. Each team will be Captained by an experienced member of the community who will organize and guide the team leading up to and including the day of competition. Unfortunately, you may not register as a team of 4 or choose which team you will be on. In the spirit of past Lions Leagues, half the fun is meeting new people and forming new bonds within the community. You will be surprised at how many kick-ass people call this gym “home”, but WOD at an entirely different time of day as you.
The jam-packed day of competing will end with a group meal. This meal is included in your registration cost. If you have a loved one who would like to join in the food or you are someone who cannot compete in the competition, but would like to chow down with your buddies, there will be a limited number of extra food tickets for sale!
Event 1 “Sprint for Your Life”
Each athlete Individually, relay style:
10 KB swings OH 24/16
20 jumping squats
200 meter sprint (back door to front door loop)
As soon athlete 1 returns from the run, athlete 2 begins KB swings.
6 rounds for time.
Event 2 “Fork in the Road”
Deadlift OR Snatch Ladder.
Teams will nominate 2 people for each ladder. ie: 2 people for deadlift
and 2 people for snatch.

Event 3 “Till Grip Do Us Part”
2 min AMRAP of ring muscle ups
while 2 teammates perform a partner suitcase deadlift hold
2 min AMRAP of partner suitcase deadlift as a pair
while one person hangs on rings
Suitcase Deadlift (2 barbells)
15kg bar + 2x20kg = 55kg/121lbs
20kg bar + 2x30kg = 80kg/176lbs
Total of both bars = 135kg/297lbs
*partner suitcase deadlift: two people standing between the two bars
will have one bar in each hand (15kg/35lb and 20kg/45lb barbells)
and simultaneously deadlift together to a locked out position (knees
and hips opened with shoulders stacked over the hips)
*suitcase deadlift hold will be the locked out position of the deadlift in
a static hold
*reps will only count when other teammates are holding the suitcase
deadlift or hang on the rings
Event 4 “Stairway to heaven”
10 Clusters 75/55
20 Pull ups
40 Box Jumps 20"
60 Shoulder to OH 75/55
100 Wall ball
200 Double unders
22 Minute AMRAP
*1 person working at a time.

LIONS LEAGUE EIGHT is Open to all levels and skills. And don't worry...because this is a Team event, you will be able to contribute to your squad even if you can't do some of the movements.

CAN I SIGN-UP EVEN IF I'M NOT SURE I CAN BE THERE ON COMPETITION DAY? WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?
LIONS LEAGUE is not only about the individual, but the Team. If you have any doubts that you will be there on event day, please DO NOT sign-up. Once registration closes and Teams are formed, it's very important that there are NO cancellations. This disrupts the teams and is not fair to the other team members, teams & organizers. There are also NO refunds for cancellations and no transferring of entry fees. So only sign-up if you mean it.
