AGATSU INDIAN CLUB  CERTIFICATION LEVEL 1 | Dec 6-7

Discover how adding Indian Clubs to your training can help cut your warmup in as much as half the usual time. Develop a deep understanding of India Club basics and their variations. Multiple variations and their uses will be explored for every exercise as well as supplemental to break through training plateaus.  Joint Mobility theory and basics as a means of joint prep and injury prevention pre and post workout.  You will also learn the Agatsu Indian Club routines as well as how to develop your own.

 

 

 

 

KETTLEBELL & FUNCTIONAL FITNESS

 

AGATSU KETTLEBELL CERTIFICATION LEVEL 1 | NEW COURSES IN 2015

Each weekend course covers: Kettlebell basics and advanced exercises, Joint Mobility and Bodyweight Exercises as well as marketing. This is NOTa pay for diploma, you must earn your certification. Anyone who does not pass an Agatsu instructor course may within one year attempt the same course free of charge. Many non-trainers attend Agatsu courses for their own personal development. If you are taking the  course to improve your personal knowledge and do not wish to be certified you may participate without testing.

 

 

 

 

OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING

 

VARBANOV OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING CERTIFICATION LEVEL 1 | Feb 14-15

Alex Varbanov is a 10 time World Record holder, Olympic Medalist and World Champion 4 times over. He has spent his life in the sport, and is currently running a Weightlifting School at the Academy Of Lions in Toronto with his wife Irina and young son, Niki.  Together, they bring the sport, culture, community and joy of this sport to North America, where they hope to teach the athletes, coaches, novices and youth how to excel.

The Level One Certification course is going to ensure you have the fundamental skills and understanding of the classic lifts. Many people practice Cleans, Snatches and Squats, but do not take their training further because of basic flaws in their technique and programming.

Whether you are a circus performer, an acrobat, a gymnast, an Olympic lifter, a X-Fit athlete, or any form of athlete engaged in the rigours of intense training and sports specialization, it is important to understand the consequences that injury to an athlete’s connective tissue support system will have on their potential for coordinated, pain free movement.
